About the Program

Where Purpose
Meets Practice

The Green Mentorship Program is an all-virtual initiative tailored to inspire and develop the next generation of sustainability leaders. Designed for a comprehensive four-month journey, the program combines academic learning, personalized mentorship, and collaborative projects to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.

The program offers 30 courses across five expert-curated tracks. Mentees are not expected to complete all 30 courses. Each participant selects one track, with the option to explore a second, and completes the courses within their chosen track. Combined with weekly mentorship, a capstone project, and global peer circles, this is where your climate journey takes shape.

Structured Online Learning
The program offers 30 carefully designed courses across five tracks. Mentees complete only the courses within their selected track or tracks and are not expected to take all 30 courses. Track-Based
2
Personalized Mentorship
Each participant is paired with an experienced mentor, receiving personalized guidance, support, and real-world insights throughout the program. Weekly Sessions
3
Capstone Project
Mentees apply their learning through a practical capstone project co-agreed with their mentor: a local campaign, a climate-tech prototype, a research paper, or a policy proposal. The project has clear sustainability objectives and a defined timeline, and culminates in a final presentation at a global end-of-cohort showcase.
Global Showcase
4
Peer Learning Circles
Through weekly facilitated peer sessions, participants collaborate, exchange ideas, and deepen their understanding by learning from one another. Application Process

Five Steps to
Join the Program

Our application process is designed to ensure that mentors and mentees are paired based on shared goals, expertise, and interests, creating a foundation for successful and rewarding mentorship relationships.

1
Apply and Get Accepted to the Program
Begin by submitting your application through the Green Mentorship website. Our team reviews all applications on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates are invited for a brief 15-minute conversation to understand their motivations and explain what the program entails. Successful applicants are then formally accepted and notified via email with onboarding instructions.
2
Create an Account on the Green Mentorship Website
Once accepted, create your account on the Green Mentorship website. Fill in your basic details: your name, contact information, and a brief overview of your professional background or interests. This account will serve as your platform for all program activities including course enrollment, mentor-mentee interactions, and project management.
3
Complete Your Mentee Profile
After creating your account, complete your individual profile. This includes your sustainability interests, career goals, and the specific areas you wish to develop during the program. This profile helps us understand your aspirations and ensures the best possible mentor match for a meaningful and productive experience.
4
Complete an Initial Skills Assessment
To better understand your current knowledge and skills, an initial skills assessment is required of all mentees. This assessment helps identify your strengths, areas for growth, and learning preferences. It also personalizes your journey by enabling us to recommend the most relevant courses and resources within your chosen track.
5
Undergo the Mentor Matching Process
Once your profile and assessment are completed, you will undergo the mentor matching process. Mentees are paired with mentors who best align with their goals, interests, and areas of growth. Matching is carefully conducted based on sustainability focus, professional experience, and personal mentoring style. This approach maximizes the success and satisfaction of every mentorship relationship.
